It’s not just the house, the gardens, or the incredible views, though those are breathtaking. It’s the feeling the place gives you. Like you've stepped into a secret, timeless world where elegance meets intimacy, and every corner tells a story.
As a Lake District wedding florist, I’ve been lucky enough to work at many beautiful venues. But Casterton Grange holds a very special place in my heart. I’m proud to be a recommended florist here, not just because it’s a dream to design in, but because I truly love it.

Designing Flowers with the Venue
I don’t just place flowers into spaces. I respond to the space, the architecture, the light, the mood of the day. And Casterton Grange is endlessly generous in what it gives back.
Some of my favourite ways to design at Casterton Grange include:
- Letting florals trail along the stone balustrades on the terrace, as though they’ve always been there
- Framing the terrace with a soft arch or climbing structure that mirrors the estate’s natural lines
- Placing seasonal flowers at doorways and staircases inside the house, so every part of the day feels intentional and full of beauty
- Designing ceremony features that embrace the views and let the setting shine
A Space That Feels Both Grand and Personal
One of the reasons I love Casterton so much is its ability to hold space for big emotions and quiet moments.
