There’s something quietly profound about the Lake District, its stillness, its raw beauty, the way the light moves over fells and stone walls. It holds a kind of poetry that stays with you. And for couples who choose to marry here, it becomes part of their story.
As a Lake District wedding florist, I draw inspiration from this extraordinary landscape, its tones, textures, and quiet drama to create floral design that feels deeply connected to both place and people.
Inspired by the Lake District
The Lake District is home to some of the most beautiful and atmospheric wedding venues in the North West. Over the years, I’ve had the joy of flowering everything from graceful manor houses and country estates in Penrith and Kirkby Lonsdale, luxury lakeside hotels and historical castles in Windermere and Coniston, to hidden chapels in Cartmel and wild elopements in the heart of Rydal Caves...
Each space is a starting point, a palette of colour, texture, and feeling. My role is to interpret that, to listen closely to your vision, and to create floral work that reflects not only your setting, but who you are as a couple.
A Thoughtful, Bespoke Approach
Every wedding I design is entirely bespoke. We begin with a conversation a relaxed, open video call where I’ll listen to your ideas, explore your venue and palette, and begin to shape the kind of atmosphere you want to create with flowers.
Together, we’ll consider:
- The floral elements that matter most to you
- Colour, texture, and tone
- Seasonal flower choices
- Your ideal spend, and how we can work within it to create lasting impact
From there, I’ll develop a floral proposal that’s as unique as your celebration, rooted in your story, your surroundings, and your style.
Throughout the planning process, I’m here to offer as much or as little guidance as you need. Above all, I want this part of your wedding to feel calm, considered, and joyful.
